Owen’s Nursery is Complete!

I am excited to say that I am done with Owen’s Nursery! Other than actually having him in it everything is complete. I know I did lots of little updates on each project along the way but I thought I would share some photos of it complete.
I am calling this Owen’s DIY Nursery. Pretty much everything in it was either made by my friends, ordered from other women on Etsy or something I did myself. Since this is my third baby and I did not need a ton of big items I asked friends for homemade things and got such an awesome assortment of goodies at my baby shower!

I made the bedding from a collection of the fabrics I found online. The yellow chevron and green squares are from the Priemere Prints collection and the owls are Urban Zoology by Anne Kelle. My friend Astrid made the adorable cloud mobile and quilt with grey, yellow and white triangles. You can find more of her creations over at Red Red Completely Red.

My friend Emily made the sweet green and yellow blocks that say Dream (the back side says Peace) Here is a link to her Etsy shop The fun yellow donut phone is a fun vintage find of mine from a house down the street from me in 3rd grade. I bought it for $2.50 at a garage sale and used to sit on the front couch and talk to my friends on it for hours

The green dresser is one I found on the side of the road and refinished. I have a more detailed blog about it here. The door used to be a glass door that I updated with scrap book paper for less for $5.00. and the adorable prints above the dresser are from a lady I met on Etsy. She was so great to work with and customized the prints just for Owen after I sent her pictures of the colors in the nursery! How awesome is that. She has a lot of other really great stuff you can check out here.

I also made the changing pad cover from the Ubran zoology fabric I used on the inside of the bumper and ordered the fun prints above it from Finny and Zook on Etsy.

Here is another shot of the prints.
And to finish it off I made a quilt that I am using as a rug to cover our carpet that desperately needs to be replaced
