When we asked our youngest what he wanted to do for his 5th birthday he came up with this garden/flower party!
He wanted everyone to have their own pot to paint and a flower to plant and take home with them. It sounded like a great idea to me so we headed to Lowes and found everything we needed!
The party was really fun and the perfect amount of activity and down time for this age group.
We had kids start painting as soon as the arrived and then let them play for about 10 minutes while the pots dried. Thankfully these clay pots dry very quickly and we moved our bucket of dirt to the back yard so that everyone could add a scoop of dirt and plant a pansy.
My mother in law is awesome and made the cutest little “dirt pails” for dessert which were actually chocolate pudding, oreo crumble with a gummy worm and fondant flower on top!
