It’s that time of year again, and I am realizing I never shared last years Halloween costumes!
I’ve included some link to items from Amazon if you want to replicate any of these looks! They are affiliate link of which I may earn a small commission if you purchase through them at no charge to you.
Last year we had Harry Potter…(here’s a link to some accessories if you don’t want to make your own)
We made a wand out of a old paint brush that we took the brush off of the end, and used hot glue to give it shape and texture, then I spray painted the wand brown. It came out pretty close to the real thing! I found a small graduation gown, some clown glasses that we took the glass out of and dark red tie that we found at the thrift store. We painted yellow stripes on the tie, cut off the extra length on the graduation gown, added a little lightning bolt on the forehead and wha-la! Harry Potter!
Our Daughter was able to dress up as a book character for school and wanted to use the same costume for Halloween, so she was the beloved Piggy from Elephant and Piggy. We just found a pink jump suit and sewed on some eyes + eye brows, ears, and added a little nose…bingo! Piggy 🙂
The little two wanted to be Ash Ketchum and Pikachu. Ash was pretty easy, white shirt and a simple hat, gloves with the fingers cut off, and a quick and easy vest sewn up. Pikachu was the trickiest but I used some sleeper footie jammies as a pattern and added on a hood and tail. 🙂
And we couldn’t let the kids have all the fun, so we went as Forrest and Jenny from Forrest Gump (blurry pic, but it’s the best we got)
I love looking at all of the different things you have done for your family for your Halloween parties! They are all so fun and something your family will always remember!
